The King is Coming

Those who have accepted Jesus Christ have the right to become children of God. We read in John 1:12 “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name,” Now if we believe in Jesus Christ we have the right to become children of God. Jesus calls us to become children of God, sons of God of whom He is the Firstborn. If we are children of God then our minds should be set on Christ and not on the flesh. Therefore Paul’s write in Romans 8:6-8 “For the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace, 7 because the mind set on the flesh is hostile toward God; for it does not subject itself to the law of God, for it is not even able to do so, 8 and those who are in the flesh cannot please God.” If our mind is set on the flesh we cannot please God, we need to set our minds on Jesus Christ on the Spirit. Now many Christians have their minds set on the flesh, they cannot divorce themselves from the flesh. Now that which is from God that is Spirit, but that which is flesh is that which we see around us, that which we taste that is what is real to us. We must get our minds on Jesus Christ. The reason why many people cannot get deliverance, come to a life of overcoming in Christ is because their minds are set on their lusts, on those things that hold them back. They want to be part of this world; we cannot be part of this world and be part of the kingdom of God. That is why God said to Nicodemus when he came to Him that night He said to him unless a man be born of water and spirit he cannot see the kingdom of God. Now the kingdom of God is Jesus Christ in us the King of kings and the Lord of lords. Where we are guided and led by His Holy Spirit as we read in Romans 8:14 “For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.”

Very few people want to be led by the Spirit of God because it is uneasy to be led by the Spirit of God. They want to be led by their carnal minds, by that which they understand, because the Spirit of God will tell us things we don’t understand. People hold on to their understanding. Paul write in Romans 12:2 “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.” The only way that we can please God is if we walk in the Spirit being guided by the Holy Spirit. We cannot please God if we are guided by our minds by our own insight. Many people, many Christians, are guided by their own knowledge of the Bible and by their own insight and whatever is not written in the Bible they don’t believe it. So even if the Spirit of God would come and speak to them they will reject it just like the Pharisees and the Sadducees and the lawyers did. They rejected Jesus Christ, they killed Him.

Jesus did not grow up in a seminary, he didn’t grow up in a temple, yet when He was 12 years old and He went into the temple and He talked to these people that were educated in the law, He astounded them by His knowledge of the law. Why? Because God the Father Himself had taught Him that. As children of God, as born again Christians we must be guided by the Holy Spirit. Now today Christians don’t want to be guided by the Holy Spirit, they want to be guided by their own insight. They are not interested in the Holy Spirit. They want to read and they want to understand everything. If we walk by understanding we are not walking by faith and we are not guided by the Holy Spirit. What happens is that people are living on revelations from years gone by they are not guided by the Holy Spirit. They cannot be guided by the Holy Spirit, because as long us we hold on to our understanding we shall never be guided by the Holy Spirit and we shall never be able to please God.

Jesus Christ His kingdom is vibrant and alive and people don’t know what is going on there. Because they won’t listen to Jesus Christ. We read in 1 Corinthians 2:11-12 “For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so the thoughts of God no one knows except the Spirit of God. 12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may know the things freely given to us by God,” He is talking about the impartation of the Holy Spirit revelation of the Holy Spirit to those who believe and follow Jesus Christ, who are guided by the Holy Spirit. Jesus said: it is good that I go away or else the Comforter cannot come. The Comforter will guide you in all truth He will remind you of what I said and it will tell you of things to come. If we do not listen to the Holy Spirit, if we are not interested in the Holy Spirit we will not know the mind of God. We have many things happening in the world around us today and everybody is anxious they want to know what’s going to happen next. What about the crisis in the Middle East is it going to be World WarIII, Marshall Law, the mark of the beast. What is happening next? Jesus does nothing, God does nothing unless He shares His private counsel with His servants the prophets. God has never changed. We read in Amos 3:6-7 “If a trumpet is blown in a city will not the people tremble? If a calamity occurs in a city has not the LORD done it? 7 Surely the Lord GOD does nothing Unless He reveals His secret counsel to His servants the prophets.” Why are we in darkness? Because we are not guided by the Holy Spirit people hang on to the written Word, they are not interested in the guidance of the Holy Spirit. This written Word was written a revelation for the time when it was written. Jesus Christ is revealing His secret counsel to those who listen, to those who are guided by the Holy Spirit and those who are not guided by the Holy Spirit are in darkness.

We read in 1 Corinthians 2:13-14 which things we also speak, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, combining spiritual thoughts with spiritual words. 14 But a natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually appraised.” When Jesus sends His revelation, when He gives His revelation into a child of God the natural man will not accept it. Today Christians are natural, they are not spiritual, they are not guided by the Holy Spirit. They want to evaluate everything by their knowledge and their interpretation of the written Word. They are not interested in the Spirit of God to guide them and to lead them. In 1 Corinthians 2:15 “But he who is spiritual appraises all things, yet he himself is appraised by no one.” Why is that? Because a revelation by the Spirit of God cannot be appraised by the carnal mind it is impossible. It can only be appraised by the Spirit of God inside a person, common sense cannot appraised a revelation from God because people cannot understand it they reject it that’s why they killed Jesus Christ when He came.

Today, if God gives a revelation people reject it because they can’t contain it. Because suddenly God has come alive, God can talk, God is not contained anymore between the black pages of the Bible. There are so many different translations of the Bible and each person has got his own preferred translation and believes that God is contain in there, He is not. God is God Almighty and He is working right now, He is revealing Himself and people can’t see it, they are in darkness because they refuse the revelation of the Holy Spirit. They refuse to be guided by the Holy Spirit, they don’t know the mind of Christ, they don’t want to know it, they don’t want the Holy Spirit. We read in 1 Corinthians 2:16 “For WHO HAS KNOWN THE MIND OF THE LORD, THAT HE WILL INSTRUCT HIM? But we have the mind of Christ.”Who has the mind of Christ? Those who listen to the Holy Spirit, not everybody. Many people pretend, put forward that they have the mind of Christ, they don’t. They have no relationship with Jesus Christ and have never heard His voice. They cling unto their own understanding of the Bible and then they profess to be wise, but they have become fools because they are not listening to the Holy Spirit. If we want to be wise, if we want to know the mind of Christ we must listen to the Holy Spirit. Be guided by the Spirit then we will know what Jesus Christ is doing right now. He will reveal it to those that wait on Him.

The spirit of the anti-Christ is fully entrenched in the church as we know it today. Jesus Christ is the head of the church. We read in Colossians 1:18 “He is also head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything.” Jesus Christ said My sheep know My voice they follow Me. He said He is the true Vine and we are the branches. If we are grafted into Him we will bear much fruit. We are the branches if we are grafted into Him we will bear much fruit. We read in Romans 8:14 Those who are led by the Spirit of God they are children of God. That is the true church of God.

The church as we know it today is a far cry from that. The church as we know it today is under the direction of men and Jesus Christ is not welcome in that church. Men have taken the place of God, they are sitting in the place of Jesus Christ. He is not the head of the church He is not the leader of the church anymore. Paul wrote about that in 2 Thessalonians 2:1-4 “Now we request you, brethren, with regard to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, 2 that you not be quickly shaken from your composure or be disturbed either by a spirit or a message or a letter as if from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come. 3 Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, 4 who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God.”

The church of today is led and guided by leaders who exalted themselves and put themselves in the place of God. They are exalted and people do not fear Jesus Christ any more, they are not guided by the Holy Spirit, they fear the leaders of the church. The church leaders have elevated themselves and put themselves in the place of God, they are  glorified and not Jesus Christ.

The apostasy, Paul wrote to Timothy about it in 2 Timothy 3:1-7 “But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. 2 For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, 4 treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; Avoid such men as these. 6 For among them are those who enter into households and captivate weak women weighed down with sins, led on by various impulses, 7 always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.”

We see that today, forever learning, there are how many translations of the Bible, yet the truth remains concealed. Why? People are not seeking the truth, they are seeking knowledge, they are seeking teaching. The truth is in Jesus Christ, Jesus Christ is the way the truth and the life. He said to His disciples: it is good that I go away or else the Comforter cannot come. Who is the Comforter? The Comforter is the Holy Spirit whom Jesus sent to guide His church, to guide His body. Is the church guided by the Holy Spirit today? No, people don’t want the Holy Spirit, people are not interested in Jesus Christ they are interested in salvation? Yes Salvation is promised by people in churches. Are they interested in sanctification? No they are just interested in being saved but not in the Savior. People don’t want a relationship with Jesus Christ. When you tell them they need to hear the voice of the Shepherd they tell you that there are all kinds of voices, which one to hear? If you don’t hear the voice of the Shepherd you are none of His sheep. That is the truth of the matter. Who guides the church today? Jesus Christ or people? Teachings, doctrines, different translations of the Bible, interpretations, different doctrines but not Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ has never ever being divided but people are divided, churches are divided. Each and every one sits in the place of God, they take the place of Jesus Christ, they are anti-Christ, they don’t want Christ to guide His church. There are many who are seeking truth, but the truth is kept from them, because they are hijacked into church. They are made serviceable, they are made servants for the church not for Jesus Christ. Are they led to a relationship with Jesus Christ where they hear His voice, where they follow Him, where they have a daily relationship with Him? No, it is about teachings, it is about tithes, money, it is about building church buildings, it is about glorifying man and who sits at the head of this? People, not Jesus not the Holy Spirit. The spirit of the anti-Christ has taken over the church. The Apostasy is right in the church and God will judge this.

Jesus is coming to establish His kingdom and He will take away the imposters. We read further in 2 Thessalonians 2:7-9 “For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only he who now restrains will do so until he is taken out of the way. 8 Then that lawless one will be revealed whom the Lord will slay with the breath of His mouth and bring to an end by the appearance of His coming; 9 that is, the one whose coming is in accord with the activity of Satan, with all power and signs and false wonders”  People are running after miracles, and together with those miracles there is no repentance. There is no relationship with Jesus Christ, there is no glorification of Jesus the Son of God, to Whom and for Whom and through Whom all things were made. No, it is about the glorification of man it is about the fulfilling of lusts and not about a relationship with the King of kings and Lord of lords. 2 Thessalonians 2:10 “and with all the deception of wickedness for those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved.” The only Savior is Jesus Christ the only way to be saved is through a relationship with Jesus Christ. Not through teachings, not through attendances of churches. If we don’t have a relationship with Jesus, if we don’t know His voice, if we don’t follow Him, if we don’t obey Him we are none of His. He goes on in 2 Thessalonians 2:11-12 “For this reason God will send upon them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false, 12 in order that they all may be judged who did not believe the truth, but took pleasure in wickedness.”

Wickedness, is not believing in Jesus Christ. What is the judgment? Jesus said the judgment is that in John 3:19 "This is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil.” Who is the Light of the world? Jesus Christ if we come to the light and the light shines on us, we know our sins, nobody needs to tell you or me our sins and our shortcomings. God put inside of us a conscience, which if we have not seared it, will tell us what is wrong and what is right. It will lead us to repentance, it will bring us on our knees before Almighty God. But consciences have been seared, people have been put to sleep, they have been lulled to sleep by soothsayers, imposters who put themselves in the place of God, in the place of the Holy Spirit, so that people would not be guided by the Holy Spirit, so that they would not be convicted of sin, righteousness and judgment by the Holy Spirit, that they would repent and be saved. This is the spirit of the anti-Christ which is leading the whole world. If you want the truth, go on your knees listen to your conscience which God has put inside of you and repent and seek Jesus now before it is too late and the door has closed forever and ever and you and me are left outside.

Why do you just need Jesus, just Jesus and nothing else? No theology, no church nothing else but Jesus Christ. Just Jesus Christ you need to know Jesus Christ. If you don’t know Jesus, if you don’t have a relationship with Jesus, if He doesn’t know you, you have nothing, no hope nothing. We read in Colossians 1:13-20 “For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, 14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. 15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. 16 For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities--all things have been created through Him and for Him (for Jesus Christ). 17 He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. 18 He is also head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything. 19 For it was the Father's good pleasure for all the fullness to dwell in Him, 20 and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace through the blood of His cross; through Him, I say, whether things on earth or things in heaven.”

Everything holds together in Jesus Christ. Everything was made for Him and through Him and to Him. And yet God the Father who made Him first and then made everything for Him and made everything to hold substance through Him, God the Father made Him come down to this earth to shed His Blood, to take the form of a humble servant, although He was God Almighty although He was the owner of all of this. God sent Him down here to take the form of a servant to be like us, to be subjected to the same pain to the same futility subjected to death, subjected to scorn, rejection, and humility. He was innocent, He who never sinned. God made Him to come in the form of a servant to come and serve, to come and wash His disciples feet, to come and heal the sick. Not to come and be a rich man on this earth but to come in the poorest form, a homeless person, being rejected by men although He healed many He fed many He was scorned. He was rejected, He was crucified, He was put to death by His own. They didn’t accept Him and God arose Him from the dead and made Him victorious, that is who Jesus is, He is God Almighty. All judgment is being given unto Him. Today people don’t want Jesus, they worship the Bible, they worship the church, they worship themselves, they won’t come to Jesus they don’t want a relationship with Jesus. They don’t want to hear His voice, they don’t want His Holy Spirit, they don’t want to spend time in His presence, they hang onto themselves.

That’s why He said in John 3:19 "This is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil.” That is why people reject Jesus Christ. They got all kind of stories. Everything was made for Him and through Him and to Him and in Him all things hold together. When He walked this earth He gave us command of how He wants us to conduct ourselves, to please Him to go into His heaven. He made heaven that’s why He could talk about heaven, why He could tell people about Heaven, He made hell too, that’s why He could talk about hell and why He could tell people about hell.

He is the owner of everything, God made it for Him and through Him and to Him and yet men scorn Him yet men don’t want to know Him. They hang on to all kind of other things, onto friends; religion is the worst of all, it takes people away from a relationship with Jesus Christ. The only thing that should matter in your life and mine is a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Paul writes in Romans 1:1, I am a bondservant of Jesus Christ. In Jude 1:1, Jude a bondservant of Jesus Christ, he is a servant he has enslaved himself to Jesus Christ. Jesus made them free from sin yet they enslaved them to Him. Peter writes in 2 Peter 1:1, Peter a bondservant of Jesus Christ a bond slave he enslaved himself to Jesus Christ. Many people scorn Peter, talk bad about Peter, Peter was a human like us, he had failures like us but he remained faithful to Christ until they crucified him upside down. So next time you hear somebody talk about Peter remember that, Peter was a bondservant right to the very end.

It’s about Jesus Christ, it is not about us. People haggle about baptism they haggle about obedience to Jesus Christ. He who does not obey the Son will not see eternal life. If you don’t come to Jesus, if you don’t obey Him, you will not see eternal life. He says My sheep know My voice and they follow Me. If we don’t want to know His voice, if we don’t want to follow Him, if we don’t set aside everything and follow Him we are not worthy of Him. That’s what He said, He said he who loves father, mother or whatever above Me is not worthy of Me. Jesus said what He meant and meant what He said and He is coming to judge this world and nobody will have any excuse. People believe they are saved because they put up their hand and they accepted Christ. Listen friend, if you have accepted Jesus Christ you accept the whole of Jesus Christ, every Word that He spoke you will obey every Word that He said. You will live in communion with Him. We have the hope of glory if we hold on to Jesus right to the end. If we reject him He will reject us.

We read in Colossians 1:21-23 “And although you were formerly alienated and hostile in mind, engaged in evil deeds, 22 yet He has now reconciled you in His fleshly body through death, in order to present you before Him holy and blameless and beyond reproach—23 if indeed you continue in the faith firmly established and steadfast, and not moved away from the hope of the gospel that you have heard, which was proclaimed in all creation under heaven, and of which I, Paul, was made a minister.”If you do not hold on until the end, if you do not obey Jesus Christ until the end, if you do not live in repentance of yourself, lay down yourself daily, pick up your cross and follow Jesus and obey Him, you have no hope of going into heaven with Him. He is not your fool, neither is He mine; He knows exactly what is in our minds. If we reject Him He will certainly deny us. Let us not fool around, let us not play church, Jesus is none part of that. Let us get onto our knees and seek Jesus, let us mean business. Get everything out of the way that separates us from Jesus Christ, let us become totally obedient. If we don’t obey Jesus, He will say to us: It is written! There will be no exception. It is not those who believe who are saved, it is those who believe and obey, obey right to the last bit. Peter and the Apostles, they obeyed until death. His sheep know His voice and they follow Him right to the very end. They reject everything, they lay everything aside and they follow Jesus. It is Jesus that we need and nothing else. A close relationship and a hundred percent obedience to live in total obedience with Him in repentance every day. If we go wrong we repent immediately, but we stay with Him, we just stay on course, we just hang unto Jesus for dear life, there is no other hope at all, nothing but Jesus.

There are many people who are in bondage. Christians are also in bondage, they have problems with lust, pornography and all kinds of things. It hampers their spiritual live. They cannot make a spiritual breakthrough and on spiritually, all these things hold them down and keep them back. I want to explain to you how these things get a hold of people.

God made us spirit, soul and body. The spirit is that part in which our conscience lives and the soul is the part, which decides the actions. We read in Ezekiel 18:4 "Behold, all souls are Mine; the soul of the father as well as the soul of the son is Mine; The soul who sins will die.”

This goes for all people, the soul who sins will die. God gave each of us a conscience and that is the spirit. The conscience is inside of our spirit. We read in Romans 2:12-15 “For all who have sinned without the Law will also perish without the Law, and all who have sinned under the Law will be judged by the Law; 13 for it is not the hearers of the Law who are just before God, but the doers of the Law will be justified. 14 For when Gentiles who do not have the Law do instinctively the things of the Law, these, not having the Law, are a law to themselves, 15 in that they show the work of the Law written in their hearts, their conscience bearing witness and their thoughts alternately accusing or else defending them,”

We often talk about our heart, that is our spirit which is reserved for the Spirit of God to come and live in it and to unify us with God. That is the part of us that yearns for unification with God, it wants to believe in a greater Being. When we do wrong the conscience speaks to us. Many of us have killed our conscience, we ignore our conscience, we don’t listen to our conscience and then our conscience goes dead on us, because we suffocate our conscience. This conscience of ours seeks God, it seeks unification with God. That is the part of us that yearns to be reunited with God, that separation that took place when Adam was cast out of the presence of God from the Garden of Eden, from Paradise.

Our soul is the one who make decisions that drive the body. The soul decided for Adam that he would eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil which God forbid him to do. Our soul makes the decisions, the psychologists refer to it as the id or the ego. That is the person in me who wants to be glorified. In Ezekiel 18:4 we read  that: the soul who sins will die. If I decide not to listen to my conscience and to do the wrong things then I choke my conscience.

Now my conscience, which is my spirit, which God gave, was reserved for the Spirit of God to come and inhabit it. If we accept Jesus Christ and invite Him into our lives, the Holy Spirit comes and indwells me. Then it is also written that my spirit together with God’s Spirit testify that I am a child of God, Romans 8:16. So when I accept Jesus Christ into my life then my spirit, together with His Spirit testify that I am a child of God. So that gives me the assurance that I am a child of God.

Now on the contrary many people are demon possessed. They are under the power of addictions, sicknesses, tension, fear, lust and many more. Where and how do those evil spirits enter a person? When I open my spirit to all of these things they enter. When I go and watch pornography then that enters into my mind. When I do not guard my mind like when under hypnosis on intoxicated with drugs and alcohol. Then those things enter my spirit, now here’s the catch. When these things enter my spirit they get a hold of me, and they cause me to do things that I don’t want to do, they compel me. So a person that watches pornography or lustful materials, those things which are demons, enter into his spirit and they start to controlling him, it starts to become a compulsion. He can’t control it anymore and this drives him and eventually destroy that person, like thoughts of suicide. These things are demons and they kill you eventually.

Jesus came to set us free. If we accept Jesus Christ and His Spirit comes and lives in us, then His Spirit guides us, if we listen. His Spirit lives in our spirit. The difference between an evil spirit and the Holy Spirit is that the Holy Spirit guides us. So if anybody tells you that the Holy Spirit drove him it’s not true. The Holy Spirit guides us. The only thing that forces you is an evil spirit. The Holy Spirit never forces anybody it is not like an addiction that you are going to die if you don’t have it. You can grieve the Holy Spirit then the Holy Spirit goes away from you. Many people were sealed. It is written that if we are baptized in the Holy Spirit we have received the seal of the Holy Spirit. But if you grief the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit will leave you even thought you were baptized in the Holy Spirit the Holy Spirit can leave you.

Let us come back to the evil spirits that come into people. They come into them because they want them, or they allow them. A person that looks at lustful materials like pornography, he attracts the stuff into himself and then these things get a hold of him. Fear, people read all kinds of fearful materials then they fall into fear, a lot of Christians are in tremendous fear, why? They feel that they are haunted, why? Because they allowed these thoughts to come into them and these thoughts, these fears, possessed them and drive them.Jesus Christ came to make us free but we must reject sin, we must renounce these evil spirits because we invited them in, in the first place. If we want deliverance we must renounce our sin in the first place. I must repent of it and then I can ask the Lord Jesus to deliver me from that sin. Many Christians don’t want to be delivered, they enjoy their lusts, lust after money or whatever even self-pity. They are so sorry for themselves and the guy that is the most sorry for you is the devil he is the big sympathizer. If you belong to Jesus Christ you have nothing to feel sorry about you must rejoice all day. So if you have a mournful spirit and you are a Christian then you have an evil spirit and it needs to be cast out, you must reject it. You must go to the Lord in prayer repent of it, than resist the devil and he will flee from you. Tell him: Satan I don’t want you in me any longer I am a child of God I want to serve Jesus Christ. So if you have a lust problem; any problem that compels you and want deliverance, you first need to renounce that spirit. Demons get cast out of people and because those people didn’t want those demons to go in the first place those demons come back with others worse than themselves and those people the end up worse than the beginning. Their second addiction to alcohol, drugs, lust, whatever substances is worse than the first and then that kills them and destroys them because they would not hang on to their deliverance in Jesus Christ. So if an evil spirit is expelled from you, you have renounced that evil and follow Jesus Christ, resist the devil and he will flee from you. That is how you maintain deliverance. You walk in the Spirit you start following the Holy Spirit, you start walking in righteousness, you obey Christ and you do works that are in keeping with righteousness. We shall all be judged for what we have done in the flesh, and the soul that sinneth shall die in hell.  So that is our choice. Jesus delivers us but we must exercise that choice and resist the devil, then he will flee from us.

Prophecy August 18, 2008 

Those who have the Holy Spirit in them, see the Light of Christ in all things. His light is in them. They observe His glory.

Now time is come, that they who do not have His Spirit in them, are in darkness. Some received the first fruits, glimpses of His glory, but they didn’t seek Him with all their heart. They did not have extra oil in their lamps and now they are in darkness. Those walked in their own light and rejoiced in their own knowledge. Now the hour of darkness has come. They will be groping in darkness because they rejected the Light.

The righteous shall shine in this hour.

The light of the Lamb shines in and through them.

Those who loved evil will be overcome with darkness. Those who rejected the knowledge of Christ, will be in darkness. Their lamps have gone out – they did not have extra oil.

Woe to them that called darkness light, those who approved of sin. Their light has gone out. They are now in darkness.

For ill gain they approved of unrighteousness. They have led many astray. Many seeking righteousness were confused by their harlotries. They are dark souls who preyed on the ignorant. They made a mockery of righteousness and rejoiced in the gains of sin.

Instead of a lighthouse they were a house of ill repute – they caused the Name of Christ to be scorned by the unbelievers. 

They lost their saltiness and have become worthless, only good to be cast out and trodden under foot. Lighthouses became houses of deception.

Darkness is come over them and over those who support them. They did not seek truth and rejected the Holy Spirit. They exchanged the true Light for the council of men. The door is closed.  Their light has gone out.

This is an evil generation with an unrepentant heart. They love the lies of soothsayers who draw them into darkness. Be still and know that I am God. Judgment is come on the earth and it’s inhabitants because they have rejected Me.

Now is the time for the wrath of God on His enemies, those who hated and rejected Jesus Christ, the true Light of the world.

They are delivered to their gods: fun, pleasure, games and lustfulness to be consumed by their own desires and evil cravings.

This message is for Christians, believers, followers of our Lord Jesus Christ. A subject, which is neglected, and that is the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Christians are extremely unwilling to be guided by the Holy Spirit. They want to be guided by their own mind and by their own understanding. This is easy to understand why it is so.

The Lord Jesus talked about it in a parable in Luke 5:36-39 And he spake also a parable unto them: No man rendeth a piece from a new garment and putteth it upon an old garment; else he will rend the new, and also the piece from the new will not agree with the old.  37 And no man putteth new wine into old wine-skins; else the new wine will burst the skins, and itself will be spilled, and the skins will perish.  38 But new wine must be put into fresh wine-skins.  39 And no man having drunk old wine desireth new; for he saith, The old is good.

Christians are not interested in the Holy Spirit or the guidance of the Holy Spirit. They are satisfied to be guided by their own interpretation of the scripture and anything and everything that goes contrarily to their discernment through their own carnal mind is rejected. That is the old wine that Jesus spoke about. He says, anyone who has had old wine does not want the new wine because he says the old wine is better. Why? Because if we follow Jesus by scripture we follow Him according to our own mind and we can contain it, we are in control. Therefore if we want to be guided by the Holy Spirit the way Jesus wants us to be guided it is hardly possible for a person who is used to the old wine being guided by his own interpretation, because he was in control. He doesn’t want the new wine and you cannot put the new wine into the old wineskins, they will burst. Why? Understanding and being guided by the Holy Spirit cannot be contained and quantified like we have with theory and interpretations of men.

Jesus Christ cannot be contained, His Holy Spirit cannot be contained, it cannot be put in a box. That is why traditional Christianity cannot fit into the kingdom of God it is the old wine. The kingdom of God is when Jesus Christ becomes the Ruler of my mind of my body of my total being, when I died to myself. It is not a rulebook, it is being guided by the Holy Spirit of God. Which explains the old but it supersedes the old, it goes beyond and above the old. We want to stick to the old because we know the old, we can contain that old. We think we are still in control, because in the old we are in control. Because I know what is written and if you tell me anything outside of what is written then I kill you. Like they did with Jesus, they killed Him. Why? It was the old wine of the Pharisees. We have many Christians today who stick to the old wine and they cannot go into the kingdom of God, they cannot see the kingdom of God. What is the kingdom of God? The kingdom of God is when Jesus Christ through His Holy Spirit guides you and rules you and determines your life. He does not rule you with a rod of iron. He guides you voluntary. You are a voluntary bond slave of Jesus Christ, if you follow Him. What is a bond slave? We read in Exodus 21 that after a person has served his 6 years as a slave and he chooses to stay with his Master, remember this man is now free. Then he says to his Master, I love you and I want to stay with you. And then they take him to the judges and they put a awl a sharp object through his ear, they take him to the doorpost and put it right through his ear and there is a hole in his ear. That hole denotes that this guy is a free slave, he is a bond slave. Why? He has bonded himself to the Master voluntarily. As a child of God I am a servant I am a bondservant. I serve Him because I want to. Being guided by the Holy Spirit is voluntarily but if I do not do that, if I do not go to Jesus, if I do not ask His guidance of the Holy Spirit, I do not become part of the Kingdom of God. I am still old wine in an old wine skin. The kingdom of God is a new wine skin, new wine in a new wine skin. The old cannot contain the new, it will burst and spill on the floor. If we want to be part of the kingdom of Jesus Christ we must let go of ourselves, let go of our old securities. People’s securities lie in their understanding of the Bible, the law, if I am inside of the law I am safe if I am outside of the law I am in trouble.

Jesus guides and He Rules by His guidance by the guidance of His Spirit. The difference is, if I am not guided by the Spirit I am outside of His will if I am guided by the Holy Spirit I am inside of His will. The old wine skin is if I am with in the law, I am fine, I am happy, if I am outside of the law then I am under condemnation. Jesus Christ came to make us free from the law but He did not make us free from being guided by His Spirit to enter His kingdom. I must be a voluntarily bond slave to Jesus Christ I follow Him wherever He goes and wherever He sends me because I want to, because I want to be part of His kingdom, because I want to know Him more intimately, because I need to be guided by His Holy Spirit to be useful in His kingdom.

I need to know His voice He said My sheep know My voice and they follow Me. People don’t want to know His voice. Why? They stick to the old wine it’s better. They justified themselves, but you know what? The problem is, they have no relationship with Jesus Christ it is a severe problem. Because He will say to them: You would not come to Me. He said to the Pharisees: You seek the scriptures because in there you seek to find eternal life but you wouldn’t come to Me and have life. Who is our life, this Book, no this Book leads us to life. Who’s that life? Jesus Christ the Living Word of God the way the truth and the life, that is Jesus Christ. He is the fulfillment of the prophecy. He is the King of the kingdom He is the judge who is coming if I don’t know Him, if I don’t know His voice, if I am not guided by His Spirit I am not part of His kingdom. Why? I still live by the old wine and I think it is better. Jesus wants you and me to be part of His kingdom to be guided by His Holy Spirit so that we can be fruitful in His kingdom, so that we can be part of what He is doing. We need the new wine but in cannot go into the old wine skin. We must ask the Lord to come and renew our mind, change us inside here so that we can understand. I must say: Lord Jesus I need not, I must not be guided by my mind by my understanding anymore. I must be guided by Your Holy Spirit. It is not optional, it is a requirement. The Lord Jesus said: I send you the Comforter. If I don’t want the Comforter, if I don’t want the guidance of the Holy Spirit, then plain and simple, I don’t want Jesus Christ. I don’t want His interference, I don’t want His guidance in my life. I would rather stick to my own understanding and you know what? That is a self-centered selfish religion of which Jesus Christ has no part. Because it does not lead me to a relationship with Him where Jesus Christ is everything, but everything in my life. I need to have new wine put into a new wine skin. I need to be changed by the renewal of my mind by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit inside of me. That is why He said to the disciples: Go to Jerusalem and wait until you receive power, until you receive the Holy Spirit. After they received the Holy Spirit they were guided by the Spirit and they could obey and follow Jesus Christ they were part of His kingdom. That is what we need, new wine in new wine skins.

People ask me: When does God speak? God is God. God speaks when it pleases Him to speak. The Holy Spirit will speak to you when it pleases Him. We schedule our lives and many people that call themselves Christians schedule some time for Jesus. But you know if we schedule our lives we schedule it for our purpose not for His purpose. We are His slaves, His bond slaves if we are born again, if we have died to self and if the Spirit of God lives in us, we avail ourselves to Him when He wants us to listen to Him.

We listen when He speaks to us, then we don’t schedule Christ, He schedules us. He tells us how and  when He will speak to us. We must live in the temple like Samuel lived in the temple. We must live a life dedicated to Him, we must set aside time to wait on Him. People are so dedicated to many things in their lives, even some things that they deem to be good. We can be so in love with our schedules that we do not listen to the voice of God when He comes to us, when Jesus wants to speak to us. Jesus will choose the prime time of your life; He will choose the best time. He will test you and see whether you want to listen to Him. You must make yourself available when He calls you. He will call you any minute; He will call you any hour. Most of the time my experience is He will call you at night. When you are sleeping and when you don’t feel like getting up, when you don’t feel like listening, when you don’t feel like praying. It is easier to turn around and sleep. You need to make a choice, because then He will speak to you. He will speak to you when He wants to. You need to wait on Him, you need to make yourself available. He will not come and speak to us when we want to listen, or when we want Him to talk to us. We are His servants, we belong to Him, and voluntary we follow Him, He does not follow us. We avail ourselves to Him hundred percent or we avail ourselves to ourselves and we refuse to listen to Him.

We must make time to be with Him, we must wait on Him, patiently we must patiently sit and wait on Him. He will come to us and He will speak to us. We must take time in His presence and He will reveal Himself to us. That is the only way that we get to know His voice, that we will be guided by His Spirit, there is no other way. We must switch of all the other things, we must put Jesus first, let Him determine our lives, let Him determine our activities. Let His Spirit guide us in every aspect of our lives then we are guided by the Holy Spirit. If we ourselves organize our lives, then Jesus is not in control, then He is not the King of our lives, then I am the king. Then my life is ruled by my thoughts by my schedule and then we schedule Him out of our lives. We must let the Holy Spirit guide us, we must wait on Him. The only way that He will to guide you is you wait on Him. Go patiently, wait on Him. Go alone into the prayer closet and pray, go wait on Him. Go when everybody else is sleeping and every thing is quiet, go wait on Him. He will come to you He will speak to you.

We read in Habakkuk 2:1 “I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved.”

Habakkuk went and he waited on the Lord so that the Lord could speak to Him. If  you want God to speak into your life you will wait on Him. You will avail yourself to Him. If we don’t have time to wait on Jesus, if He is not that important in our lives we cannot call ourselves disciples of Jesus Christ. If His voice is not precious to us then He is not our Master then we are our own Masters. If we determine to rather go read books even go read the Bible even go and have Bible studies, go have meetings that seem to be sanctified or good, that is not a relationship with Jesus Christ that is not to put yourself under the Lordship of Jesus Christ, when you yourself determine your time your availability what you will be doing. He will never speak to you, He will not encroached on you. He will not force you, He will leave you.

If we seek Him, we find Him. You will know when He has spoken to you, without a doubt. People want to know: how does God speak? Does He speak in a voice? How does He appear to you? You will know. He is God Almighty, He made you, you will know beyond a doubt. And if Jesus is not as much a reality that you know He spoke to you then you are not His sheep. He says My sheep know My voice an they follow Me, they will not listen to a stranger, they will run away from Him. So if you don’t know the voice of Jesus it is time to find out the voice of Jesus. The only way you will find it is spending time with Him there is no other way. If you don’t know His voice, He will say to you one day; go away I never knew you. Why? Because you refused to seek Him, you never found Him you never spent time waiting on Him.

Do you know His voice or don’t you? Be honest with yourself, don’t kid yourself. Do I know the voice of the Master? Or am I kidding myself. We will answer that question and the Lord will tell us I never knew you go away from Me. Are you ready for that? Are you ready for that? He will say to you go away from Me I never knew you. If you are not that serious about Jesus that you want to hear His voice, that you want to become intimately acquainted with Him. Then you are not a follower of Jesus Christ my friend, then you are fooling yourself. If you want to hear Jesus you will hear Him. Go spent time in His presence, go wait on Him. He will speak to you in good time very quickly. If you are serious He will take you seriously. You don’t take Him seriously He won’t come to you. You seek Him, you find Him, that’s for all of us. Some people have heard the voice of the Lord once in their lives and now they are happy with that. That’s not good enough you have to hear it every day. We shall not live of bread alone but from every Word that proceeds from the Mouth of God. If you haven’t heard His voice today you are in trouble my friend and if it doesn’t worry you, you are in serious trouble. Don’t call yourself a Christian. Go repent of yourself go turn yourself down, crucify yourself, pick up your cross, seek Jesus, make time with Him. Switch of all those other preoccupations or He will say to you go away I never knew you. That’s how serious it is. Go seek Jesus, you will find Jesus. You will know His voice, because you will hear it. If you are not serious about hearing His voice, if you are not serious about a relationship with you will not spend eternity with Him. Heaven is for those who loved Jesus Christ above everything, above father, mother, above there own time above everything. If Jesus is not the center of your being then Jesus is not your Master then He is not your Lord and then you are not a disciple of Jesus Christ.

It is the nature of man to always look for a quick solution, an easy way out, easy salvation, a short cut, but there is no such thing. There is no such thing as easy salvation. In the times of John the Baptist it was exactly the same we read in Matthew 3:1-3,7-10 ”In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judea, 2 And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. 3 For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Esaias, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, prepare ye the way of the Lord, make His paths straight.” 7 But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come? 8 Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance:  9 And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham. 10 And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.”

John would not baptize them unless they showed fruit of repentance. Many people prach that if you just believe in Jesus Christ you will be saved, that’s not true, we must bear fruit, fruit of repentance, fruit of those following Jesus Christ. He says the axe is already laid unto the root of the tree. We read further what Jesus said in John 15:1-2 “I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. 2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.” Jesus called us to be fruitful He did not call us to sit around and wait for His coming we read in John 15:16 Jesus said to His disciples” 16Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. 17 These things I command you, that ye love one another.”

The command of the Lord Jesus is that we love each other. If we love each other we shall be concerned about each other, we shall bear fruit of love. The fruit of love is to be concerned about my brother, sister or friend who is not saved and does not have a relationship with Jesus Christ. Fruit ensures I that will warn my brother or my sister who is on the wrong road, or whose relationship with Jesus Christ is not right, that I warn him I pluck him from the fire like a stick that is starting to burn, it’s not that I leave him in the fire because I am a friendly person, because I belief in the love of God. The love of God leads us to repentance because the judgment of God is the same for all sinners there is no difference for a person who believes and a person who does not believe, His judgment is the same. The grace of God for the believer is, that if he believes in Jesus Christ he can  repent and get forgiveness of his sins. For the person who does not believe, there is no forgiveness because he does not come to Jesus to get cleaned up to get washed in the Blood of the Lamb. Also the unbeliever does not stay in the Light so that he is continually cleansed through repentance of sin. A believer remains clean by repenting and asking forgiveness every time that he slips up and sins.

Jesus called us to bear fruit, if we do not bear fruit we will be cut off and put into the fire. We read that in John 15:4-7 “Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. 5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. 6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. 7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.”

 Take note “if you abide in Me and My Words abide in you”  The Words of Jesus are His commandments. He said: if you love Me keep My commandments. We read the Words in the four gospels, Matthew to John,  all the  Words that Jesus spoke. We are to bear fruit, we are to stay in His love. The only way that we can remain in Christ is through obedience to Him, having the Holy Spirit working in and through us. If we obey Christ we remain in Him and we  will be bearing fruit of love. Love for our neighbor love for our brother and sister and most of all we will love Jesus Christ. We will remain in a relationship with Him, not just knowledge of Him. Without that fruit the axe already lies against the root of the tree and is about to be cut off. The branch that does not bear fruit will be cut off.  A branch that does bear fruit that will be get pruned so that it can bear more fruit. Why does it get pruned? It gets pruned so that less of us is visible, if there is too much green wood on a tree it cannot bear fruit. Anybody who knows about fruit trees about will know that if you allow the branches to grow too wide, the sun can’t get to the fruit so you won’t have sweet fruit. If you leave too many branches the tree doesn’t bear fruit because all the power goes into producing leaves and branch, nothing goes into producing fruit. So its pruned back, we are pruned back if we remain in Christ. We are pruned back to the extent that Christ bears fruit through us. Jesus Christ did not call us to glorify us,  He came so that we can bear fruit in His kingdom. If we don’t bear fruit we will be cut off. If I am not concerned about my relationship with Jesus, about my brother and sister in this world that is lost and ding something about it, I am not bearing fruit. Let us take heed, make sure that we do not get cut off and go into the fire. Let us make sure that we bear fruit because the axe already lies at the trunk of the tree to cut off those that don’t bear fruit. Those branches also that don’t bear fruit will be cut off be put in the fire. They will not enter eternal life with our Lord Jesus Christ.
